Day 0 - Fowey Castle - Mevagissey 12k minimum
Leaving the beautiful natural harbour of Fowey we will head out past Fowey Castle and around the headland and out to sea. We will cross over to 2 white sandy beaches not accessible by road. We will have a late lunch on the beach and enjoy the water. After lunch we will head out and round the headland seeing Pentewan Beach and the pretty little fishing village of Mevagissey. We will stay the night at Mevagissey and enjoy seafood at the local restaurant.
Day 1 - Mevagissey - Lugger 16k minimum
After a leisurely breakfast we will make our way to the harbour and begin our water journey. We will head out of the pretty colourful harbour around the headland and into the coves and bays, we will pop into Gorran Haven for snacks and lunch on the beach at St Michael Caerhays. Depending on the weather we will take on a tour of the castle then or make our way to Lugger and come back to th castle. We will stay the night in the lovely little village of Lugger.
Day 2 - Lugger - Portscatho - St Mawes 16k minimum
Day 2 we will get our really food on, after leaving the hotel we will hug the coastline letting us see where the smugglers duck and dived there way past the red coats! As we round the coast we will come across a bay and in that The Hidden Hut cafe a gastronomic experience not to be missed!! The menu is changed daily depending on the availability of local produce and is incredibly rustic. Once back in the boats we will row round the headland and into Portscatho and stop for a drink in the colourful fishing village. Once well watered we will hit the water for final row round to St Mawes, a beautiful fishing village with a castle on the hill. We will stay the night in St Mawes enjoying the local cornish hospitality as many a Royal has done in the past.
Day 3 - St Mawes - Falmouth - Truro
Sunday morning we will visit St Mawes Castle, then taking to the water we will row our boats across the bay to Falmouth, we will rid the tide up the estuary to Truro our final destination, where you will be able to return on the train to your destination.
